this rack doesn't come with directions but with a little thought its easy enough. its well made as when it flew off my car in a downhill turn at 55 it didn't break in half. it did bend slightly. just enough that I can't use it now. I am a first time buyer of any roof rack. I thought I had it secure but maybe not enough. it never did fit quite right even with the 3 choices of foot clips and yes its meant for my vehicle.I don't think i'd purchase it again but if it fits your roof well its nice for the price. I also purchased the j arms this company sells. they are great and I will use them on a future rack. delivery was early for both.
