The new Xelement Evolution Helmet gives you the flexibility to go from a Full Face to Open Face helmet with a drop down Inner smoke-tinted shield. Quickly convert from a full face to a open face helmet by removing the chinbar by releasing dual levers located underneath. This helmet is constructed from composite thermoplastic material, advanced shell design for stability at higher speeds, full front to back ventilation system, removable/washable cheek pads and meets strict DOT regulations.

This helmet looks and fits awesome and is very affordable for all the great features. But its drawbacks should give you pause. What I want is for the makers to improve the build quality and safety rating, and I'd pay more than twice the price.

The best things about the helmet:

The visibility. I can look in my side mirrors without moving my head. I can check my blind spot with very little movement.

The sun visor in combination with the stay up face shield gave me nice options for riding around at lower speeds on a hot sunny day.

The low chin guard allowed me to drink from my water bottle without taking my helmet off. That was convenient.

Great for hot weather!

The worst:

Quality of the build. There was a little rubber sealing strip at the forehead for the face shield that turned up gone at some point. After that the shield would squeak a bit sometimes when the wind changed directions. Took me awhile to figure out what the noise was.

And speaking of noise, that is something to note. This is part open faced and full faced helmet. And when it comes to noise it is just like an open faced - maybe worse. Best to wear ear plugs.
