Being entirely mesh, when you zip out the liner its great even on the hottest days. Sitting in traffic gets a little hot being black. But with any airflow through it keeps you nice and cool. The padding is nice and unobtrusive. My only complaint is the zipper leaves a little to be desired as it catches sometimes.
