I normally just change the struts in my cars and it seems like there is always a little glitch. Sometimes the spring compressor doesn't fit right other times something is broken or worn out in the rotating parts that need to be kept. This time I tried the strut-spring pair and it was a breeze to change. No fighting with springs and rusted strut retainers, just undo 3 top nuts and the bottom thru bolt and pop it out, same for re-install. I was enjoying a frosty beverage before my hands even got dirty. I think it's worth a few bucks more plus I've got new springs now too and the height is back up again. The old strut was also the cause of a bad clucking sound that I'd heard for quite a while. Sounded like something was bad or about to break loose but it was just the strut. Done and done.
