I think Yamaha should have built the bike like this in the first place, perhaps they will on later models. This product will reduce wind and rain, keeping your lower legs warmer and dryer. The difference is not dramatic, but every bit helps on a cold and rainy ride.

On top of that, they look great, with a natural and organic look. They don't look like an "add on."

One star left off as I think they could be a little thicker, and don't quite flush right at the top, but it is minor. Also the star was left off as I think they are a bit pricey for a couple of plastic pieces. The maker must be enjoying a huge profit margin.

Installation is easy. 3M tape anchors the deflectors in place. There are also two screws on each side that complete the installation. I recommend drilling a pilot hole for the screws. It is possible, although difficult, to screw in without pilot holes, but I was afraid the pressure required to get the screw started might cause the screwdriver to slip off the screw and scratch the bike, or myself. So I drilled some small pilot holes and I highly recommend that route.

This is a great product for your Majesty and I highly recommend it.
