So we came across this in a Walmart on clearance and we snagged it.

That is a bit under 2 feet on a side.

The lid is durable and has cup holder-like depressions. The legs fold up easily, but are sturdy when extended. This thing JUST fits in a rolling luggage hotel cart, and fit the back of our SUV with just a few inches extra room on the side. It's surprisingly easy to maneuver, but the one thing I want to add is an extended handle. even with the wheels, tugging it around by the short handle can be a bit daunting. Fortunately there are handles on both sides and it can be carried pretty easily.

I don't know if it's really three pounds when empty, but it was surprisingly light on it's own. The bottom inside is not flat, and would probably not work great for stacking regular sized objects. But the sides are sturdy, and it holds up under weight on the lid. The lid can also accept a padlock.

I'm very happy with it so far!
