Update 03/16/13.... After less than one month outside in the sun this cover has started to shred and rip when a wind over 15 MPH hits it. What a waste of more than $90.00. I would change it to NO Stars, if possible.

....Received this cover today to replace a five-year-old $119.00 Covercraft car cover that I had on my 92 Honda wagon that finally ripped and was shredded by the wind.

I was dismayed when I picked up the small carton thinking that perhaps I had not received the cover that I had ordered from Amazon because the box, with whatever was inside, only weighs about 3 lbs.

My four layer Covercraft car cover had weighed in at about 8 pounds. The last Budge car cover that I had purchased for my Mercedes more than three years ago was about the same price as this latest one, but was four layers and weighed four times as much.

My dismay only increased when I saw what was in the carton. The Budge cover inside the box was a thin, one layer cover which seems to have a light inside coating of a plastic type spray on it. I have seen $20.00 large fabric tablecloths with a rubberized interior layer that were more substantial and more heavy duty than this thin one layer sprayed cloth car cover. If this cover lasts more than a month outside I'd be very surprised.

And if it does live up to the "Ten Year" warranty, it must be constructed of some indestructible, and indescribable type of space-age cloth that the general public knows nothing about. The cloth, without its thin plastic interior coating, which must stand up to wind, snow, rain and hot sun for ten years, seems to be no thicker than a regular Bounty paper towel
