I recently purchased this amp despite what other reviews stated about it's quality.

I have to say this in one of the better amps I've worked with. Not only have I experienced no problems with power (or fuses...), but the package itself turned out to be better than I originally anticipated! The bass control knob works great, and it came with enough length of cable to allow me to run it up the drivers side of my Civic, under the drivers foot-space carpet, and up the side of the center console to allow for sleek mounting. Also, the amp has a built in "subsonic" bass boost, which gives a small dB boost to frequencies between 15-50 Hz, which I've noticed helps with lower, harder notes.

How anyone could tell an amp would blow fuses prior to installation is besides me, I installed this amp with a RF 4awg power kit to two 4ohm 12" subs myself and, as stated, haven't had a single problem yet (been about 3 weeks of heavy use).

My only gripe is that it doesn't accept 4awg wire. I had to cut down the ends of my cable to make it fit snugly.

Aside from that though, I would recommend this amp package to any of my friends looking to buy a reasonably economical amp that will push a reasonably strong beat.
