First off, the wiring was too short, so I had to cut the fittings and splice in almost a foot of wiring. Not a huge deal but the motor only lasted four trips to the lake, about 2.5 weeks and quit. Waiting to see how they handle the return.

update: They are sending me a new unit, hopefully it lasts longer.

Boston Acoustics Se95 6x9-Inch 2 Way Se Series Pair of Car Speakers Review

I picked these up to replace the weak (but still fair sounding) factory 6x9s in the rear deck of my 06 Accord Coupe. I didn't do anything other than remove the old speakers and plunk these in and splice onto the existing wires. The sound is so crystal clear and the bass response is great. Listening to something like Eazy-E makes the car sound like it has a subwoofer. The sound stage did shift slightly towards the rear, which places it balanced in the middle of the vehicle instead of in front of me. I prefer it this way, so didn't bother to adjust the fader. Icing on the cake, I was able to sell my old factory pair on a well known auction site for $40! That made this a very reasonable and pleasant upgrade. Honestly, looking back I can't imagine why I didn't do this sooner. I don't know if you'll find better sound for your buck, but you'd have to be an extreme audiophile to be able to distinguish the difference anyway. Go for it, no regrets.
