We have a red Cadillac CTS and wanted to add a little extra something to the car and chrome adds that. So along with adding chrome handle covers and these chrome fender trims our car looks really great.

My husband did not feel comfortable with just the clips on these though and found by drilling a hole and on each side of the trim piece and adding self-tapping screws made these more secure.

Don't use the oiled version. I have used K&N in my Challenger and Malibu SS and yes they gave the promised boost however given a choice, benefits being nearly equal to oiled, the dry is best with the fuel sensor "masking" possibility as the air sucks through your system it also aerosols the oils on the filter as it enters YOUR car.

This feels similar to Amsoil's Absolute Efficiency line and they do not make one for my car. The build quality is very good. Feels like a permanent filter. There will be zero air escaping the rubber gasket --really high quality.

Was a good choice. I'll do aFe again, yes.
