My wife's '07 Malibu has approx 53k miles and I noticed it had a rolling pitch when driving thru a shallow dip. I first replaced the rear shocks (approx 30 min total) which helped, but not a total fix. So I replaced the front struts (approx 2hrs) and found the left front shot. It was dry but not damping any movement. The right was worn but still working to a limited extent. The ride is now taught, not rattling and very controlled. I'm becoming a believer that shocks are only good for about 50k miles. This is my first experience with KYB but it won't be my last.

I have replaced the ball joints on three seperate gm pickups with this tool. I have had no problems other than the paint chipping off of the collars. The collars were probably painted for the looks and rust protection. And that's fine. But it's on there a little thick. I would prefer the paint not to be there. As it chips off, it tends to tilt the collar slightly. I removed the paint from the ends with a wire wheel and all is fine. The press itself has not sprung, bent or shown any signs of the threads failing.

LS2 Helmets OF583 Bobber Solid Open Face Helmet (Matte Titanium, Small) Review

Definitely a well constructed, well thought out helmet. Great color (called Gunmetal on the LS2 website, Titanium here). Small fit true to size - the Bell Custom 500 was a little tight in a Small, this fit just right. Was surprised it came with a couple treats - a pair of vintage-looking goggles (that are actually pretty crappy and unwearable, but a nice gesture nonetheless) and a small black visor. Neither was mentioned in the listing, so that was a surprise. You can tell this company is passionate about making helmets, from the unique closure system (think ski boot or bike shoe snapping closure) to the soft interior that can be removed to clean, to the goggle strap in the back. One thing I do not like, which is not pictured on their website, is that there is an LS2 logo on the front AND back of the helmet which is not a sticker. Kind of kills the vibe of the helmet. Lastly, the profile is simply too large - gives you that spaceman look we're all trying to avoid, not as sleek as the Custom 500. Not to be vain, but I will likely return it for this reason. Even though it's comfortable and extremely well-made, I know that if I think I look like a goofball in it, I'm simply not going to wear it.

Fit properly and looks like the original although not as lighter in weight than the original. The car has 100K so I am not concerned if this one will last as long.
